
By translating shapes into computerized images, this system can turn any surface into a touch-screen.
This project is design by Engineers those are Karthik Ramani and Niklas Elmqvist and their colleagues, revealed a new concept, projector-based computer input system that can transform desks, office walls, or even kitchen islands into interactive surfaces.
This system consist of a computer, a projector, and a Mircosoft Kinect depth-sensing camera. The projector used to display screen that connected with computer onto surface, while the Kinect’s infrared laser and receiver estimate the distance to the surface.
This system can pick up 16 different hand gestures like a mouse with 16 buttons.
